Food Safety - Jack's got your back.
In 1993, Jack in the Box implemented the fast-food industry's first comprehensive food-safety system. Originally developed by NASA to ensure safe food for astronauts, the "farm to fork" HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system helps ensure that strict food-safety measures are in place at beef processing facilities, during transportation to restaurants, and during the storage, preparation, and cooking of hamburger patties at all Jack in the Box restaurants. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Food & Drug Administration and the Center for Science in the Public Interest have called the HACCP system at Jack in the Box the "gold standard" for the fast-food industry.
